Rob Salem leant his love of movies and charisma to the production by agreeing to act as host.

Rob has been a critic, columnist and editor with the Toronto Star for over 25 years. He also hosts a weekly TV show on the Drive-In Classics digital cable channel, and appears regularly on several other national networks, including Star TV, CTV, Talk TV and CBC Newsworld, as well as Saturday Night At The Movies on TVO.

We had Rob in a vintage car in a local garage disguised to look like a drive-in car park. Braving the cold indoors - the heater fan was too noisy for the sound recording - Rob delivered a delightful performance and gives great credibility to the production.
